RESEARCH INTERESTS
Antiviral innate immunity; evolution of cellular defense circuits and viral counter mechanisms. Cellular sensors of foreign nucleic acids and pathogen associated molecular patterns as innate immunity triggers; interactions between stress inducers and host susceptibility factors as determinants of disease and outcome predictors.
