The Chabinyc Research Group studies materials for flexible electronics, energy storage and conversion. Particular emphasis is on characterization of the electrical and morphological characteristics of organic semiconductors in thin-film transistors and photovoltaics. Hybrid organic devices for energy storage are also of interest. The nature of organic interfaces in thin films is studied using a variety of techniques including X-ray scattering, scanning probe microscopies, and electrical transport measurements.
