Resolving Bacterial Protein Synthesis and Degradation in Space and Time

This project will develop new methods for time-resolved and cell-selective analyses of protein syntheses in biological systems, which will be integrated with complementary methods that were recently developed to elucidate organism-specific and spatially-resolved patterns of gene expression.
